These Terms govern your access to and use of the Service, including any content, features, and tools we make available. Using the Service
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and comply with applicable laws. You will not misuse the Service, including by attempting unauthorised access, interfering with normal operation, scraping without permission, or using the Service to publish unlawful, misleading, or harmful content. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms are violated, to protect users or the Service, or to comply with law. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
If you connect bank accounts through approved, read-only providers, you authorise us to receive data to categorise transactions and generate insights. You can disconnect at any time. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and for activities under your account.
Subscriptions, billing, and cancellations
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices and available plans are shown on our Pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current period. We may change prices or plan features on notice for the next billing cycle. Taxes may apply based on your location. Payments are processed by third‑party providers; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Refunds are handled in line with applicable consumer laws. If the Service does not work as expected, contact us within 14 days and we will help make it right. For plan details, see Pricing.
Privacy and data protection
We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information. We do not sell personal data. We share data with service providers under strict contracts and only as needed to deliver the Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
No financial advice
SavePilot provides educational tools and general information to help you organise finances, plan savings, and consider options. We do not provide investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice, and we do not recommend or broker financial products. Content and outputs are for information only and may not be appropriate for your circumstances. You are responsible for your decisions. Consider seeking advice from a qualified professional before acting on information from the Service.
Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to SavePilot and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or free of harmful components.
To the extent permitted by law, SavePilot and its directors, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of £50 or the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and can cancel subscriptions from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Certain sections survive termination, including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service. If you are a consumer resident in the UK, you may benefit from mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence.
